Interview with Breeze Of The Dying
Interviewer: Mohammad Lafi - JorZine.com

JorZine reporter "Lafi" has conducted the following interview with Breeze Of The Dying The Saudi Deathcore Metal band.

JZ: First of all I’d like to thank you for the opportunity to do this interview , now how about we start by telling me a little bit about yourselves as individuals and as a band, and who came up with the name “Breeze Of The Dying” and why ?

Madani:I’m a normal guy who just loves music and loves composing music, and I’m studying city planning.
Ahmed: I’m trying to live life by the moment.
Joud: Love music and history.
Majed: I try to discover new things.
Khaled: Well, I’ll just say am a good guy.
Shadi: High school student and love exploring and experiencing new techniques in music and life.
As a band, we try to create friendship and be a “one family” band with all. Our music is how we get to our fans and loved ones.
The name was created as a song title by Joud. But when we started to change our genre we decided to let go of FIRECELL and go for a more powerful name that suits the genre which is BREEZE OF THE DYING.

JZ: So what got you into death metal in the first place?? Who inspired you to start composing your own music?

BOTD: Great bands like: Necrophagist, Nile, Suffocation, Lamb of God, and so. Our inspiration came from All Shall Perish, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Job for a Cowboy.

JZ: How about middle eastern band, any bands in particular that you enjoy listening to?

BOTD: Well, Creative Waste, Bilocate, Octum, Deathless Anguish, and Nervecell.

JZ: In a country where music is forbidden, did you have any problems with the government?

BOTD: Well, IT’S NOT FORBIDDEN. It’s just some of the people don’t accept Metal as an art form. And no we didn’t get into any problems.

JZ: So have you ever played live in ksa or any other place?

BOTD: Hell yeah, we got shows running here in KSA weekly. We played in Riyadh and a lot of shows here in Jeddah.

JZ: Any plans on playing live in Jordan?

BOTD: Of course, we would love to do such a thing. IT WOULD BE AN HONOR.

JZ: Any future plans that you’d like to share with your fans on “JorZine”??

BOTD: Just stay tuned for the upcoming two songs. And the album will be out soon by summer.

JZ: Are you currently playing in any side projects other than Breeze of the dying?? Could you tell us a little about those bands ??

BOTD: Ahmed and Majed have their own project band, a black metal band. It’s under process. Madani the guitarist also has his own work as an instrumental player, he compose all instruments.

JZ: Any last words for your fans in Jordan??

BOTD: If BOTD reaches Jordan and people know us there. We love you and we would love to perform in front of you one day and just see you all having a joy out of what we do. See ya all soon.
